Cherrie was last seen getting off the school bus 150 yards from her home in Saxonburg, PA, on February 22, 1985. A bright blue or blue-green 1976 Dodge van with a mural of a skier and snowcapped mountains was possibly involved in her disappearance.
Cherrie was wearing a gray coat, blue denim skirt, white leotards, blue leg warmers, beige boots, and Cabbage Patch Kid earmuffs. She was carrying a blue and cream backpack. Cherrie has a cowlick above her right eye, a dog bite scar between her shoulder and left elbow, and her ears are pierced. The second photo shows Cherrie age progressed to 44 years.
